About Rich Clark Images
Rich Clark Images is an independent fine art printing and artwork digitisation studio based on the Kent and Sussex border. Founded by Rich Clark, the business specialises in helping artists turn original artwork into professionally printed fine art prints. My ethos is about providing a hands-on approach to supporting you to sell your art.
What I do
My work sits at the point where artwork, photography, colour management and print come together. I help artists digitise their work accurately, prepare it for reproduction and produce prints that retain the character, colour and detail of the original. I don’t just stop there though. I assist you in how to present your work, where to sell your work and how to manage that process going forward. I provide a one-stop-shop for those that need it and considerable expertise built over years in the industry for those who want to learn the process.
Where I started
As an exhibiting fine art photographer, I started out on a similar journey into print. I was disappointed with what I found in the industry and wanted a higher-quality, bespoke solution that provided attention to detail.
I initially started supporting artists to offset my own printing costs but word got out. For well over a decade, I have worked with a huge range of artists in the South East.
Whether you are an established artist or taking the first steps into selling your work, I can help you.
How I work
I work directly with my clients throughout the process, from the initial scanning or photography through colour matching, proofing and final printing. I believe this personal involvement is particularly important when working with original artwork, where small differences in colour, texture and detail can make a significant difference to the finished print.
My Philosophy
I want to de-mystify the world of fine art printing. Make you aware of all the options, at all the price points. I don’t believe in hard sells. I believe in great service and a high-quality end product. I want you to be able to spend more time doing what you love and be confident that your work is in very safe hands.
