34053 Sir Keith Park, Battle of Britain Class Pacific by renowned Watercolour Artist Nigel Wade. Offers are invited for this original painting with all proceeds being donated to the Spa Valley Railway

This 65 cm x 48 cm hyperrealism painting shows the steam locomotive on duty at Lealands on the Spa Valley Railway in Kent, hauling a rake of BR Southern Region coaches.
 
Owned by Southern Locomotives Limited this magnificent locomotive currently resides at Tunbridge Wells shed on the Spa Valley Railway

The painting captures in minute detail all the glory of Sir Keith Park in steam against a backdrop of the beautiful Kent countryside. Nigel Wade is renowned for his landscapes and seascapes and his brand of hyperrealism, which he calls ‘Watercolour Realism’, lends itself to the intricacies of railway art.

This original painting is expertly framed in distressed silver woodwork, with a double mounting and non reflective UV resistant glass.

These prints will be signed, titled and numbered and of ‘archive’ quality, designed to last a lifetime.

Prints will be sent ‘rolled’ in heavy duty postal tubes.
